Promotion of human rights in mainland China, Hong Kong, Xinjiang and Tibet by: monitoring abuses, research into human rights issues and providing technical advice; publishing in-depth reports; raising awareness of, and promoting public support for, human rights issues; facilitating discussion and engagement with human rights in civil society; and international advocacy of human rights, and Supporting Chinese dissidents in China and the purpose of China Studies is to discuss, research, publicise and promote human rights in China with the basic aim of promoting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. At the same time, all activities will be run in strict compliance with UK charity law.
